A Lonely Ghost Sits Alone - Chloe Coglan Class 5

!

A Lonely Ghost Sits Alone

Out in the dark

Where a ghost sits

The door hinges squeak like

The mouse across the floor

With the trees outside

Whooshing in the wind

Where the dark

Clouds cover the moon

A ghost sitting all alone

where he is screaming

Let me out,

Let me out,

Let me out,

Where the next house

can’t hear a thing

He wonders a

around at night?

as a lonely

dark shadow

No one can hear him shout

Let me out,

Let me out,

Let me out!

The Lonely Sheepdog

by Ehlana Class 5

Near the edge of the farm

where giant trees

sway from side to side

in the violent wind

and leaves float

above the ground

and conkers fall to the ground,

like boulders rolling down a mountain,

sky as grey

as an elephant

a dog is sitting

alone:

on a dull farm

he cries for food

he

cries

and

cries

there is a small cottage

where a dog lover lives

all the lights are on

and there is a food and water bowl out side :

you can hear the woman in side

praying for a dog

the dog hears her

he comes to the door

let him in

let him in

let him in.

In Egypt - Zoe Cowley Class 5

!

IN EGYPT

Out at the edge of Egypt

Where the sun shone

In your face it burns and burns

In the clang in the a touch of breeze

The pyramids cast an icy shadow on

Who ever passes.

The sphinx as still as rock a mummy

Walk alone past a pyramid

Let the mummy in

Let the mummy in

Let the mummy in .

Ten Victorian Ghosts - Shannon Wood Class 5

!

Ten Victorian Ghosts.

High up in the deserted attic

Where spiders spin

Their silky webs

In the pitch black

And boxes rot

In the wetness

And the ripped curtons

Flow in the cold cold wind

The window opens

And closes and opens

Ten Victorian ghosts

Part

On the coal black floor

Their see through

Bodies

Flow

And

Flow

Just down the long stairs

In a very cosy room

A fire is going

On its own

Silence

Like a warm breeze

Before the ghosts haunt you

Get out

Get out

Get out

The Cold Journey – Olivia Harvey Class 5

!

The Cold Journey

Out at the top of the mountain

Where the cold wind

Crush the icy snow

In the frozen sky

And bright green grass

Turn into stiff white straw

And the nature green

Is now snow, white, cold

The dark black road

Is no where to be found beneath the terrible fog

No one is to be seen or heard

Off the mysterious mountain like a desert

Where no one lives

A little girl walks alone

Her eyes blur and blur

Like a wet computer

And her fingers

Freeze and freeze

When she finds the

First house

behind you is the sand devil

walking every time he comes past the crows

 squawking
