Achievements and Certificates
The children are awarded merit marks for good work and academic achievement and/or effort. These accumulate towards certificates.

We have a system of certificates that the children progress through over the year. There are six main certificates - red, blue, lilac and then bronze, silver and gold certificates.  These are presented in whole school celebration assembly every Friday.

If the children do exceptionally well they receive a Head teacher’s certificate and will then be invited to tea with the head teacher.

The children also earn tribe points. These are collected for good manners, kindness and consideration. These are totalled as a tribe (one of four that everyone in the school belongs to) and at the end of each term the winning tribe is awarded the Tribe cup.

 

Every week one child from each class is chosen to receive a Dabaso Certificate. This is awarded to acknowledge exceptional acts of kindness and consideration during the week.
