Elizabeth was appointed to the Board of Governors in November 2012.
In her professional capacity, Elizabeth is currently employed as Education Manager at Business in the Community, one of HRH Prince of Wales’ charities. Her role is to develop its national education programme, Business Class and, as such, is responsible for developing long-term strategic partnerships between schools and businesses.
Her background is primarily in building communities and partnership working, volunteer engagement, corporate responsibility and marketing, previously working for Canadian membership organisation, Foresters, Lloyds TSB and The National Trust.
With two grown-up daughters and a very tolerant husband, Elizabeth has lived in Elborough since the village was completed in 2000. “I am honoured to be a Community Governor for Hutton Church of England Primary School. Spending many years supporting and developing other people’s communities, it’s very rewarding to be able to do use my professional skills and experience to benefit young people in our own community.”
