Distance Learning – Year 6
Term 6 Week 7 – 13th July
Wow, Year 6, you’ve made it to the end of primary school – HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL!!!!! It has certainly been different and we have all taken different paths on our journey (especially in the past few months) but you are now ready for secondary school. I shall save all my soppy words for the Class 6 Year Book, so please keep an eye out for it towards the end of the week. I just wanted to say a mahoosive thank you to all of you and to your wonderful parents/grandparents/carers/siblings etc who have supported you in your learning in these tricky times. I hope you will look back on this time with good memories of spending more time with your families, having a slower pace of life and learning together with your parents. This has been a part of history and you are all part of it too!
So goodbye my lovely year 6s and have the most wonderful summer.
My tips for September are be organised, be kind and be yourself – you are AWESOME!!

We are living through an unusual time in history – record it so you can look back on it years later so you can remember what was happening and how you felt. Check it out here
Activities for all the family
This booklet contains lots of different ideas that you and your family could do over the holidays.
Young Voices are putting videos on YouTube (singing with Craig and meet the band etc). Check it out. Also, if you have access to Facebook through a parent, YV are uploading lots of fun stuff including dancing with Andy Instow and singing with some of the guests.
Don’t forget to look at this knowledge organiser to learn some facts about the musicians who were prominent in our period of history studied.
